Ubuntu에서 Ruby on rails 설치 :: 2009/02/15 12:34

/Ubuntu 8.10

요즘 분위기 쇄신차(???) 루비를 공부하기 시작했습니다...ㅋ


1. apt-get 을 먼저 업데이트 해줍니다...

apt-get update

2. ruby 설치~~!!!

apt-get install ruby rdoc ri

require_frameworks no such file 에러가 뜨면

apt-get install libopenssl-ruby 설치!

3. gem 설치~~!!

wget http://rubyforge.org/frs/download.php/38646/rubygems-1.2.0.tgz <- 다운 받은후..

tar xvzf rubygems-1.2.0.tgz <- 압축을 풀고..

cd rubygems-1.2.0.tgz <- 폴더로 이동후..

ruby setup.rb <- 젬 설치 합니다..ㅋ

gem update --system <- 설치가 완료 되면 젬을 업데이트 합니다..ㅋ


그리고,...gem -v 로 버전 확인을 합니다...

이때  uninitialized constant gem..에러가 뜨면..


$sudo pico /usr/bin/gem 를 열고..

require 'rubygems' <- 아래에

require 'rubygems/gem_runner' <- 이것을 추가해 줍니다..

 

4. mysql 루비 라이브러리 추가

설치전에 mysql이 설치 되어 있어야겠죠?? ㅋ

apt-get install libmysql-ruby


5. Rails 설치

gem install rails --include-dependencies   <- 이렇게 하면 레일즈 최신 버전이 설치되구요..

gem install rails --version '1.2.6' --include-dependencies

 원하는 버전을 골라 설치하시려면 위와 같이....

버전 확인~!

rails -v

//

굳이 예전 버전을 설치해주는 이유는 scaffold 라는 rails 메서드가 2.0 버전 위로 올라가면서 사용법이 바뀌게 되었기 때문이다. 무엇보다도 scaffold의 강력한 기능 -_-;
